Like Cain, Alireza's brother and cousins did not rule over their sins. Instead, first planned and then made the choice to commit an unGodly and heinous act. They did not do what was right. They judged a child created by God gifted to this world to fulfil a specific destiny. They executed a beautiful young man whose soul was sent to God by brutally beheading him. Alireza's mom had to be hospitalized after going into shock being led to her sons corpse by his murderers. They did all this in the name of God but they are nothing more than perverse, unrighteous murderers.

Our love goes out to people who suffer the threat of death at the hands of tyrannical hatred towards LGBTQIA+ persons. To Alireza's mother as well as all LGBTQIA+ persons in Iran and worldwide, our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you.
